Clean yellow from teeth. Dissolve 2 oz. of borax in 3 pints of boiling water and before it is cold add 1 tsp. of spirits of camphor, and bottle for use.

A tablespoos on this mixture, mixed with equal amount of tepid water, and applied daily with a soft brush, preserves and beautified the teeth, extirpates all tartarus adhesions, arrests decay, induces a healthy action of the gums, and makes them look pearly white.

Lemon juice whitens teeth also. Rinse afterwards because of the acid.

Peroxide is in most whitening toothpastes so it probably is good for whitening as well.
